READING PROJECT!

In sixth grade we are reading interesting books about different topics: cities, animals, stories...

When we finish the book, we write a BOOK REVIEW and through this we are learning a lot of new vocabulary and structures. Moreover, we can do some activities about the book that help us to understand it and check what we have read!

Do you like reading? We encourage you to do it!! COME ON!!

READING PROJECT

AND THE WINNER IS...

This is Luis from 5º B. He has already read 8 books in English language or bilingual (English-Spanish). So, he is our first winner. He got a certification and a little gift!.

Congratulations and keep on reading!!

READING PROJECT

Let's begin our reading project in English!

Students in 5ºA and 5ºB begin reading books in English or bilingual content books. The classroom project consists of choosing a book from the school library or from the local public library (if they have any that's right, but we will check their level) and then read, understand and learn to write information related to the reading. To do this, they have to complete certain information "before reading" and information "after reading". For each book and worksheet they read and complete, they will receive an award sticker that we will place on our scoreboard. Let's see who gets more!

This activity aims to promote reading, as well as reinforce language skills, such as comprehension and written expression.

Hi everyone,
We celebrated Halloween in many ways. We decorated the classroom doors, we had a great "Jack-O'lantern" contest and in order to practise listening, reading and oral skills in English, we did a "Halloween Quiz".

And the winners are...

  Halloween Quiz.
Some students of 5º and 6º course tell us the real story and origins of this festivity and why is celebrated.  They have to listen at home and answer some questions related to the listening. The whole family can take part in this activity. Here you are the recording!
